Q:  What kind of therapy do you do?

The Center provides short-term, collaborative, solution-based therapy directed at helping each person to first better understand the nature of his or her anxiety condition, followed by teaching the person specific skills which can be immediately used t feel more confident in handling their feelings of anxious arousal across various life situations. This is accomplished by using approaches associated with Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Therapy, and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Q:  What are your fees and do you take insurance?

Fees for therapy are reasonable and affordable and vary depending on the specific professional service you are seeking – call us for a fee quote.  We are generally a “pay in full at the time of service” Center, although we do work with certain out-of-network insurance carriers and will always present a receipt immediately following each session, along with instructions related to helping you get reimbursed by your individual insurance company within typically 2-3 weeks following each session. Payment for sessions (cash or check) is due at the time of your scheduled visit.

Q:  How often and how long will I be in therapy?

The Center's therapy is short-term, action and solution-focused, which generally means that patients are seen once weekly until progress begins to occur, at which time sessions are scheduled less frequently for the purpose of maintaining treatment gains.  Follow-up sessions are then scheduled once each month until you feel your goals have been met. In general, most of our patients are seen for approximately 10-12 sessions.
